This is exactly what the voice message recorded: The Caller: An automated voice or a representative identifying themselves as "Howard". The Pitch: Claiming to be from the "Funding Center over at Consumer Allowance". The Bait: Informing you that you have a "hardship approval" for a loan just over $30,000 tied to a fake application they claim you submitted "late last year".
