Scammer said he layed 2100 bales of Pine Straw in our yard. Never have we ever had more than 190 bales ever installed. It's just not possible. There were 3 workers. The agreed upon price was $5.00 per bale but then when he came to actually lay it down it changed to $5.50. We wrote a check for $7500 because things were getting heated and advised that we were calling the police. We then immediately called our bank and stopped payment on the check. The police came and a report was filed. The scammer originally approached our home and came back to provide the service.
