The person pretended to be someone on a website called neighborhood news and claimed to have a stray dog that followed her home and was trying to see if anyone wanted the dog. I said I am interested. I gave them my name, but not my address. They asked for my full name then I gave them a fake middle initial D. At first I said my real middle initial then realized it was probably a scam and said I gave you the wrong middle and gave a D instead. They said someone was coming to pick up the dog tomorrow from a place where they hold dogs until they are adopted. They said they would let them I was interested in the dog and that was the end of the text. I check my phone and it said it was a fraud so I immediately deleted the info from my phone.
