Person said they worked for the State of CA and said an inspector would visit my homes claiming to be from SB 350–related programs, offering “free” estimates or rebates for home improvements like solar panels, HVAC upgrades, roofing, or bathroom remodels. The person had my home address and said they could see on google maps and was describing my house. I only confirmed I lived here and she asked for how long which I said how long but gave no other information.
