I was contacted by someone who works for 24/7 Teach. I was told to look into their "Instructional Design 10 Week Bootcamp". Justice Jones, the owner of the company, set up a consultation with me to discuss the program. I was told that I would receive the following: live one-on-one sessions, 5 hours/week of assignments, weekly training and group sessions, weekly group learning sessions, portfolio development training, personalized mentorship, and access to the 24/7 Instructional Design community.

You can learn more about the course that I purchased at this link: https://247teach.org/instructional-design-bootcamp

During my time at this bootcamp, I never received my portfolio development training, personalized mentorship, or weekly training sessions. I only received one one-on-one session. I was placed into a group of three other participants, and they later shared with me that they were receiving the same course that I was in FOR FREE. I had to pay $1610.25 to be a part of this program, while the other members joined by simply applying on a different page of their website. These participants who joined at no expense were given the same courses and content that I was given, with no difference between my course and theirs.

You can learn more about the free internship program that other course participants joined through this link: https://247education.org/become-a-247-intern

It is unethical that I had to pay $1610.25 to gain access to the same course content that other participants got access to for free. This was a scam. Justice Jones refuses to refund me, despite only being in the program for less than 2 weeks of a 10 week course, and not receiving anything I was guaranteed. The refund refusal goes against their money-back guarantee that they advertise on their website.
