I was contacted via email from a Park Fitzpatrick, Lewis Gronbeg referencing a McLean Hockson, HR manager for 1Bios, Inc- a healthcare software tech company....offering a remote job of customer service manager. Contact was https://t.me/Mcleanhocksondesk for which we then used software Telegram to chat and converse, using telegram ID of @mcleanhocksondesk. There was also a reference to https://telegram.org/dl?tme=1e30fff77d4ccd358c_1629804303504667852 for the Telegram software. This position offered salary of $42/hr for a remote Customer Service Manager role. I chatted with this supposed individual very intermittently for 3 hours....which was an odd, but could have been legit OL interview, answered questions, and then offered the position......which required them sending me a check and then I was to purchase computers, hotspots, etc for the role. Towards the end they asked for my info, name, address, frequency of pay I preferred and then my local bank.......this is when I became MOST suspicious and quit communicating. This communication was intermittent, 90% good English, but often oddly worded and insistent I continue the lengthy chat/interview. This was supposedly from Truckee, CA.
