I have been a customer with ATT for over 20 years and on 21 April 25, I received a call from someone stating that they were from AT&T, and I qualified for a decrease in my bill. This person was able to access my account on AT&T. It has my physical address, my mailing address, my phone number and lastly my checking account information. This person was able to send me a text and email from AT&T. I am upset that all my personal information was hacked and breeched by AT&T. When I called the AT&T customer service line, the lady tells me that she has had other calls regarding the same issue and that I needed to file a claim with AT&T global fraud department. THIS IS NOT GOING TO FIX THAT AT&T breached my information. They have privacy laws: And I have rights. As Department of Defense employee this is unacceptable AND I WILL BE CONTACTING A LAYWER AS WELL AS MY LOCAL NEWS STATION! ATT had a security breech and nothing is being done!!!

This is the email response I got from the fraud department:

AT&T has completed an investigation of the above referenced account and has determined that the disputed wireless phone number was authorized. Please be advised that you are fully responsible for this wireless account as well as any associated charges.
