Received a text from ?+1 (855) 970-8980? saying “Hello, this is Apria! Call 833-641-6706 to set up a payment method for your $197.96 balance due. Thank you. Reply STOP to optout. Msg&Data rates may apply.”

Upon checking my Apria page, I had no outstanding balances, and googling the phone number I got the text from returned a ScamPulse.com page on a scam.

I have received texts from this number before, but never realized it was a scam - I do not believe I ever paid the scammers, however, as it lined up with when I actually had money due to Apria. At least, if I’m recalling correctly…the fact is I have not paid them.
