I was in contact with an individual who claimed to be rehoming a Munchkin kitten. They did not provide any official documentation such as vaccination records, ownership proof, or adoption papers. They appeared to be in a rush and insisted on receiving the payment quickly.
Once I sent the payment, they told me the kitten would be shipped using a service called “SameDay Delivery Agency”—a company that does not seem to legitimately exist. Later, I received a message from a stranger, not the original seller, stating that due to “temperature control,” I needed to pay an additional $699, which they claimed was refundable, in order for the kitten to be delivered.
This raised serious concerns, and I now realize I was scammed. I would appreciate any assistance in investigating this matter and would like to know if there’s any possibility of reversing the payment or preventing further harm.
