YourALuckyWinner2023 Reports & Reviews (1)

- Lakeland, FL, USA

On November 7, 2023, I was using my Bible Trivia app when I received a notice that I could enter a contest to win an iPad. I usually don’t respond to such ads but on this occasion I entered the contest and received an email from “Youraluckywinner2023” stating that I had won an iPad. The only requirement was that I pay the $9.95 shipping and handling which I authorized to be charged to my credit card. However, when I received my credit card statement an additional $149.00 had been charged to my account by Boulder Garden. I contacted support@youraluckywinner2023 and was informed that the $149.00 was the cost to join a book club. I informed them that I did not authorize them to charge my credit card $149.00, that I only authorized the $9.95 shipping and handling for the iPad which I had won, that I was not interested in joining any book club, and wanted the $149.00 reversed on my credit card. They reversed the $149.00 charge and my credit card was only charged the $9.95. To date, I have not received the iPad in spite of numerous requests. I was given an estimated delivery date of January 6, 2024, with an order number OAC3BC8FDD. I’ve been given two different emails to track my shipment (https://exprshipping.com and https://shiptrck.com) but have been unable to receive any response. I was also given different customer service contacts which proved fruitless because I was informed the computer was down, the office was closed, etc. Finally, I was given a telephone number (844-441-0468) to call to track my shipment but I have not called that number. At this juncture, I do not want the iPad that I allegedly won or the $9.95 shipping and handling (or the $29 over the limit fee my credit card charged due to the $149.00 charge). I want others to be aware of what appears to be a scam and not be subjected to my experience.
