We purchasing a ragdoll kitten for $400 plus $100 for deliver ($250 deposit) from a breeder named Cindy Heffelfinger at 824 Broadalbin St SW Albany, Oregon. We live in Seattle so Cindy recommended sending the cat using a company called your choice delivery express. We paid Cindy for the kitten and she dropped the animal off at the shipping company, so she said.
After using Apple Pay to send "Matt Thomas', the delivery company representative, $600 for kitten transportation to Seattle and crate rental deposit ($500 of which was to be refunded upon delivery), Matt came back and asked for another $1,000 for insurance quarantine services. We said we are not paying more for insurance and quarantine. Matt said since they won't ship the cat without the additional $1,000 payment (which he said is totally refundable), and if we didn't pay, he would contact authorities and have us charged with animal cruelty. Plus after the request for $1000 insurance, we asked for a business license, insurance documentation, and refund of our crate fee. Non of this was provided
