The bird house was described as something made by a disabled veteran. There were lots of positive reviews and pictures of a copper house with patina and cute detailing. I received a thin brown metal house with a hole large enough to fit a squirrel. It was NOTHING like what was pictured. I threw it out as it was useless and ugly. The website is still up and I've seen their ads. I don't care about reimbursement, but I would like to keep someone else from being fooled. I'm only assuming this was from China based on the email address and the fact that it took 20 days to arrive. I have pictures of what they advertised and what I received.

This is a scam. James Russell advertises on Facebook that he is an extremely disabled veteran who makes handmade birdhouses. He is not who he says he is and the products are not handmade. His Facebook page is James Russell Veteran. He is not a veteran and the birdhouses are not handmade. They are cheap, plastic toys from China and drop shipped from China. When I tried to return the item they told me it has to be returned to China and the shipping charge would be $30. The return address on the box was from: Jerry Yasfbara, 9208 Charles Smith Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. Jerry Russell, veteran, address is: 922 Crowfield Road, Phoenix OR. Phone number: 480-205-8507. I don't think Jerry Russell is real and I don't think the address is real. There is no phone number on their website:

www.hynloi.com. This is a fraud.

The site claims to sell handmade birdhouses made by a disabled American Army Veteran. The product received looks like it's 1/4 the size and nothing like the photos. It's Chinese junk you wouldn't buy in a dollar store. They stated I have to ship it to China to get a refund. That makes NO sense considering it's supposed to be made in the US.

James Russell disabled veteran was selling birdhouses on FB. Showed photos, gave dimensions and a 45-day guaranteed refund if not satisfied. The box arrived with unassembled pieces that were miniature in size. Totally not the same product in the website. I requested a full refund for false advertising. They want me to pay for the box to be returned to China. PayPal is slow to help.

Company in China posing as wounded US soldier making birdhouses by hand. Noted when International charge posted to Credit Card company. Immediately notified the seller to cancel order. They stopped responding. Next day sent me an item shipped notification from Hong Kong. I wanted to to help the veteran. I continued to decline all offers from seller with a discount. My Credit company filed dispute and today I received my money back. I filed a scam report with FB. They stated this episode did not meet their scam standards. I guess with FB it’s ok to imitate a US veteran for profit.

Ordered 6 bird houses that arrived as small metal toys even a small bird couldnt get in the holes. And the support poles would make them 6 inches off the ground. My credit card has reimbursed me and is filing fraud accusations.

The website shows the American flag and says Veteran Owned Business rated A+1 Purchase Worry Free from an Accredited Store. Handmade Outdoor Bird Houses. they show a beautiful bird house, but actually you are ordering stakes to support something.

When I placed my order at the bottom was a separate picture of a naked lady lying on her back, total inappropriate even though private areas were covered it should not have been there. A friend experienced the same thing when ordering. I notified via email and told first a "Linda" and then "Jelly", when they responded to my emails requesting a receipt of my order and telling of the naked lady, no mention was made of the porn picture of the lady.

Finally when I received an emailed receipt of my purchases, there was Chinese writing all over the receipt and NO description of what I ordered.
