I just came Accross this story of a scam some one was using my name and number.how do I find out more about who this is so I can protect myself

I was called by John Anderson who stated that he was calling from 702-587-8458 and was a representative of Winner International & Payout Services. He had my birth date, social security number and physical address. He told me that I had won $2.5 million and that he needed me to verify my identity by giving me him my drivers license number. I told him that I would provide that information to the person delivering the money to me. He then said that it was being sent via FedEx and that he needed to give him my drivers license number before it could be sent and that it would be delivered within 3 hours. He also tried to rush me by saying that he was very busy and didn't have time to argue. I checked the phone number online and it is a Los Vegas, Nevada number listed to Leeann Bronson. I then checked my caller ID and the number he called from was 906-214-2187 which is listed in Marquette, Mi. He did not ask for money but in other scams, after getting my drivers license number, he would be able to get credit cards in my name and then wold probably have asked for money to make the FedEx delivery.

Consumer reported that he received a call from Katie Stanton with Winners International Payout Services. She claimed that he had won $7 million and asked for his bank account number so they could deposit his winnings. Consumer did not give out bank information.
