I saw a tiktok video of Wine N Rubs services, it had a tag for his Instagram page.I went to Instagram to look and see if it was a legit business, and followed the page. By the next morning he had messaged me. He explained that he traveled around to do these massages, and was going to be in my city at the beginning of Dec. I booked a massage for my birthday, and understood that they would want a deposit so I paid $150 for the deposit. He said I could pay cashapp, zelle and PayPal. I chose cashapp as it was easiest. The name that I paid was not a business name, just random names (should have been another red flag), the name has changed since I paid. They’re doing this as they’re being reported as scams.

As it got closer, he started hitting me up for a second “deposit”, got my date and time that was booked incorrect, and told me that I better not be late as he hates to wait. I started questioning him on how legit his business was, to which he tried to reassure me. Even the email confirmation that I received looked unprofessional. Even though there was a phone number on there he wanted me to message him through IG.

In the day of my massage, I was prepping to leave to go to my massage and his IG page was gone for me. . He blocked me so that he wouldn’t get my messages or couldn’t report him for being a scam on there.

I should have known better, I had a feeling after I booked with him that something wasn’t right. . Just wish I’d listened to it.

Beware. . I wish I hadn’t been so stupid.
