Scammer

Asked me to buy iTunes gift cards. Said he was a US volunteer orthopaedic doctor surgeon. His wife and child died five years ago. Claims he’s 57! His favourite food boiled chicken and spaghetti! Asked for proof but he sent me pictures of another person. His text was like a foreign English using odd words. Getting very rude and demanding. I obviously clicked on he was a scammer.

Fake Secret Shopper Evaluation

Thought I was signing up to be a secret shopper, instead upon opening the packet, I instantly realized this was a scam. A packet comes in the mail with a check $1870 and instructions to buy $1500 in gift cards, scratch the bank so the pins are exposed, and send a picture of the cards to the email given. Now c’mon. Oldest scam in the book. And, to add insult to injury in the “I must be an [censored]” department, the paper the check is written on is clearly not the quality an official check would have ever been drawn on. These people need to be stopped. I’m posting all over social medal. William Morris is about to be far more well known then his alter-ego even dreamed. [censored] scammer.

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

Received USPS Click and Ship package priority mail. Package contains Secret Survey Letter with $1870 check in my name with instructions to send text to (719)900-0474 with amount received Bank name of the check. Instructions state: purchase gift cards in the amount of $1500 from EBAY or WALMART. Capture image of card front and back after peeling the silver scratch off area sending them back to [email protected].

Email all details of the purchase/s to their email address.
