Very quickly he gutted the inside of the property and had a few guys put up the “frame work” for the bedroom. Then he did not show up for weeks until I threatened to take legal action. He sent a new crew out that he found on Facebook the night before and promised to pay them. On day three his team quit because he did not pay them. He refused to do any more work. He stated he was out of money but how when we paid him 11k? He refused to give us our money or materials.
When I completed a police report I found out he has a sealed presentment in Sevier County for Contractor fraud pending. He has victims in Sevier county, Jefferson county and cocke county. He does not plan on stopping.
We had an inspection done today to see how bad the framing job was because even to the u trained eye it is obviously a safety hazard. The inspector in cocke county said it’s the worst he has ever seen. The entire project will have to be taken down before it tears down the rest of our home.
Not only did he steal 11,000 dollars from us but his negligence is going to cost us upwards of 30,000 to fix. Now we cannot adopt a child because our home is destroyed. Please help save others from this man.
