A priority mail envelope was delivered this afternoon containing a cashier's check issued by Latino Community Credit Union, value of US$1,450.32. Per letter and instructions, this is supposed to be my first assignment as a secret shopper. Letter instructed me to deposit this check in my bank account and later buy Visa and Footlocker gift cards adding a total of U$1,000.00. My commission would be US$450,00. I've verified the check routing number on ABA and there was no match. I also reported to reportfraud.ftc.gov. No money lost here!
