A job contacted me through email on May 12, 2022, suggesting an interview and possible employment with them. I told them I was interested and they gave me a job offer letter and a letter of the job description soon after. A person named Olivia Harris told me to contact them by telegram and that the job would be done there. After two and a half weeks they told me to handle transactions but it was going to be done through my personal banking account while they set up the corporate account. They told me that I would be getting paid in 30 days. On June 24, 2022, they transferred money to my account from another account. They provided me with an account number and routing number to Mountain America Federal Credit Union 324079555 and Account number- 11810997. The transaction was for $9,954.00 through my account. They proceed to tell me to cash out the money and deposit the amount in another account which was a Wells Fargo account. I followed their instructions as I was told, and once the 30 days were up I asked them where is the money that I worked for. They said they were having issues with the direct deposit and days later this person ended up blocking me on telegram. I was part of a money laundering scheme and I didn't even know it.
