DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! First, their labs are in NY - so don't bother driving to Novi. Just mail it yourself

Secondly, they told me they'd recover my data in 6 weeks. Instead, they kept me waiting for months until they ultimately just said, "Your data can't be recovered." All the while they kept telling me they were working on it and asking me questions about the data. They lied several times, then suddenly told me they can't recover anything. When I asked why they'd previously told me they could, the engineer lied to me and his supervisors refused to answer my emails. I had to pester them for weeks just to return my hard drive. They wasted 6 months of my life.

When I finally did get it back, I sent it to another data recovery service which was able to recover my data in a few days. If WeRecoverData ever was a legit company, I don't know, but now they are fraudulent scammers. DO NOT USE WeRecoverData. There are much better data recovery centers.

I dropped my hard drive. Needed to get my data repaired and recovered. They claimed that the data could not even be recovered without software, this is false, my computer was able to access the hard drive regardless of the "physically damaged" condition. To have professional help, I went to who I believe were professionals and instead received information that didn't follow up to my end of the story. To top it off, they wanted my SSN, and images of my driver's license as part of the payment that I had already given for evaluation. I've decided to do a deeper dive on the internet on who they were and who reviewed them and in retrospect, I should've treaded waters carefully. I know my information is gone and stolen but at the very least, others can learn
