I got had the same way for $299.99. I was bombarded with texts and phone calls to access my bank account which I did not do. After filing a disputed charge I got another text saying this was a scam and I still owed them. Although they were obviously Asian and difficult for me to understand, they gave themselves
English names, Bob, Josh, Christine, and Peter. They provided a LOGO for me to contact them by which they could take over my computer. I had to have my computer wiped clean by a proffesional company for $125.00.

Got a screen that would not let me turn off the computer, saying my computer was infected with many hackers. Had the worst day of my life and was not thinking straight. So I went with them. Cost $800 for a lifetime support to update scam software. Can you stop the payment?
Do I notify the bank? Additiona numbers 855-201-4037.
