Bedroom dresser was listed on Facebook Marketplace under furniture as a "flash sale" clearance item. Linked to what looked like Wayfair site, made payment online. Got email saying it had shipped, etc, but could not track it with link provided. Called Wayfair and they said it was not theirs.

They offer items for sale and claim to be Wayfair, but are not. When I contacted Wayfair, they didn't know anything about my order. They also claim to be a "Trusted Store". Their website looks professional.

Was browsing Facebook Marketplace for local deals and stumbled upon a "wayfair" post. Looks extremely legit so went with the purchase. After going back to wayfair.com and looking for my order, got suspicious because my order was not in myhistory. Checked my credit card transaction and had Romorywuds listed. That's when i realized i had been scammed.

They advertise a futon for 39.00 using Wayfair like advertising. They claim product was shipped. I never received it. Then then said it was lost and have not issued a refund.

I thought this site was wayfair. After teading reviews, it appears this is a scam spoof site.

I did not give them my SSN. they got my credit card number however. I have since canceled that card.

On 12/30/2024, while on Facebook, I clicked on what looked like a Wayfair ad for a TV stand on sale. I clicked on the ad link, purchased the TV stand with my credit card and received an confirmation from "Wayfair" stating the TV stand would be there in 2-3 days and I could track the shipping via t17track.net. The TV stand never arrived, but the $49.98 charge was on my January 2025 credit card bill.

And add appearing to be from Wayfair showed up on our Facebook feed and we purchased some lawn furniture. We never received an email confirmation which is what clue does in to the fact it was a scam. We were able to contact our bank the same day and stop the transaction. We did have to cancel the debit card as well.

As soon as I paid for it I realized that the website that was advertising on FB was changing almost by the hour so I reached out to the email given on the receipt. The email was rejected. I reached out to paypal which was used in payment for my credit card but they told me that the email was not one of theirs. I contacted my credit card and they did not give me a provisional credit and told me it would take up to 60 days to resolve this even though they admitted it was most likely a scam.
