I received an email impersonating Microsoft 365 Billing Support, claiming my payment method needed to be updated to avoid service interruption. The message used hidden Unicode characters to disguise the word “Microsoft,” making it appear legitimate at first glance. The sender’s email address was [email protected], which has no connection to Microsoft.

The email included a button linking to https://www.watchlershirts.com, urging me to “Renew Card.” This was clearly designed to trick recipients into entering payment details on a fake site. The message lacked personalization, used urgency tactics, and falsely implied that services like OneDrive would be suspended.

This scam is dangerous because it mimics real billing alerts and uses deceptive formatting to bypass spam filters. I did not click the link or provide any information, but others might be misled. Always verify the sender and domain before updating payment information online.
