They called & said I owed money from a personal loan I took out in 2021 for VIP loans. I did not recall taking the loan out during that time, however, they said if I did not pay $1,000.00 right then that I would be served for a court date & my paychecks would be garnished. When I explained that I did not have that money they agreed to "settle for $400.00" & to be set up on a monthly payment plan. I'm still in the process of trying to figure all this out but i'm 99% sure it is a scam.
