On Dec 3, 2024 I placed an online order, order # VE00000870, for one Blue XL SKU:DZ-93020-QYP-blue-XL, in the amount of $35.97 at vercoo.com for what was described as a western-geometric-rhombus-color-contrast-print-long-sleeve-shirt. This is the link to that product:

I received the product on Dec 19, 2024 and upon opening it I was immediately disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality of this shirt, as it was obviously a
cheap counterfeit knockoff of the design originally made and sold by Cumberland Outfitters. I own this specific shirt made by Cumberland Outfitters and I was wanting to replace it, as I could not find it online and still available from Cumberland Outfitters, so I know what kind of quality this shirt is supposed to be. Not only is this an absolute terrible looking knockoff, the material of the shirt is extremely thin and poor quality.
I paid for the shirt from vercoo.com through my PayPal account and consequently,
I contacted PayPal on Dec 20, 2024 and filed a complaint and requested a full refund of $35.97 for the reason being that the item I received was different from what is shown on the Vercoo website. I then emailed Vercoo at [email protected] and stated that I wanted a complete refund of $35.97 for this shirt because what I received looked like a bad silk screen knockoff. I also informed Vercoo that I had opened up a dispute case with PayPal.
Then on Dec 22, 2024 I received an email from PayPal stating that they had been contacted by [email protected] fromVercoo who offered to pay me $10.97 and that I could keep the item. I declined that offer, stating that “I will not accept anything less than the full refund amount of $35.97. I do not want this shirt due to its terrible quality.” Then on Dec 29, 2024 Vercoo made a second offer to pay me $17.97 and I declined that offer. On Jan 11, 2025 [email protected] from Vercoo made a third offer of $25 and I again declined the offer.
Verso’s return policy on their website at https://www.vercoo.com/pages/returns-cancellations?spm=..index.footer_1.1 states “At Vercoo, your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return process to ensure your shopping experience remains pleasant.” What I am getting from Vercoo is the complete opposite of this return; nothing but a runaround and refusal to make a full refund of $35.97.
I am a retired Dayton, OH Police Officer and I proceeded to search for reviews about vercoo.com and found that several sites list them as a ‘Scam” company with complaints like “Victims may receive cheap replicas made with poor-quality materials that do not match the original product descriptions, constituting knock-off or inferior substitutes” which is exactly this case here.
In addition, Verco.com does NOT list a city or state in which they are located, but their listed phone number of 315-993-6888 has a New York State area code that covers the west-central portion of New York.
