I received an “important notice” in the mail regarding a vehicle warranty that is expiring. I’ve never had a warranty on my vehicle so I called simply to tell them to take my home address off of whatever scam they’re trying to pull. He requested the letter ID at the top of the mailer which I gave to him and told him to take my address off of their mailing because I don’t have that vehicle anymore (which I do). He asked what kind of vehicle I have to which I gave him the vehicle make/model/year FROM THE LETTER & he proceeded to tell me that wasn’t the vehicle they had listed for me. Clear as day that was the vehicle they had listed! He kept asking me what kind of vehicle I drive now and I told him I’m driving my husband‘s truck and he wanted to know exactly what kind of vehicle that was. I told him it was none of his business and to remove my address from their system to which he put me on hold, came back on and asked for my bank information because he said I have a $568 credit on my warranty account. I finally just hung up.

This letter arrived home with my father's name on it, saying that we needed to call before a date that had already passed. The letter said we had to pay for not contacting them for the vehicle warranty or something. We don't have a car but my dad has a car license, but anyways it was pretty obvious. The company also has no name, saying only, "Sincerely, Andrew King, Program Coordinator."

Received a letter in the mail with no return address, no company name, just "Vehicle Services Division" stating that my coverage for my new car may have already expired. The letter had an attachment that says "Registration Fee Voucher" in the amount of $199. It also says to contact them at 888-413-6075 by the end of the month. I didn't call anyone, the whole thing upon opening looked totally fallacious.

I received a letter by postal mail with no identifying information as to where the letter came from other than the "PRESRT STD Postage" on the envelope from St. Louis, MO. The letter included an unofficial check made out to me for $199 but nothing in the letter indicated what this was for. The letter was from the "Vehicles Service Division" and marked "Immediate Response - Final Notice" telling me my vehicle coverage may be expiring or may have already expired and that their records showed I had not contacted them to get coverage. It asked me to respond my 07-19-2024. Fortunately, I knew right away it was a scam but decided to finally report this one.

Also, i will be financially liable if i do not actuvate coverage. Letger is signed by the "program coordinator" AW. No return address was present on envelope

The scam letter was sent several times within a year period, referencing my vehicle and asking for the vin and mileage by a certain date. The letter is demanding and pressuring recipient to take action by calling 800-851-0673. The letter does not list a company name or address, nor does it list an email address to contact.
