Cell phone call from local area code. Male voice said he was calling from the service department ( did not identify the company). Then can you hear me? I automatically responded I can hear you, Yeah before it hit me that this is a scam. Then it went into a sales call for a vacation at which point I hung up. I will be monitoring my credit cards for any unusual activity.

Answered the telephone "Hello," on the other end of the phone "Hey so-and-so?" [addressing me by my correct name as if an acquaintance}. I unwittingly replied "Yes" and the call ended.

Scammer called our office and asked for me. When I picked up the call he simply said my name to which I answered "yes." He then hung up. As I understand it my "yes" was most likely recorded in order to use for some type of authorization for charges.

My husband answered his cell phone and did not realize it was a Robo caller. The robot caller said, This is John from Customer Service, Can you hear me?" Unfortunately my husband said, "Yes I can." He told my husband he won tickets to Disney, etc... My husband said, "I can't go" and hung up. I am concerned that his "yes" was recorded and will be used against us or we will get billed for something we truly did not authorize.

Caller claimed to be checking to validate a business on the floor, and asked that I open a website URL he gave me over the phone. I declined. Upon further inquiry, it was clear he did not know the address of my location, nor the floor of my business. I concluded the call. My guess is there was something not good at the URL he wanted me to go to. Sorry, I did not write it down.

Then started taking about a free opportunity at their resort (no name) for me since I had stayed there before (I had not) then I hung up the phone

I normally do not answer unknown calls but my sister if very ill (Hospice) and the number was a local area code so I answered it. He said, "hello" and than said "ma'am" and I said yes. He said to hold on for a moment and the line went dead. When I tried to call back it was not in service.

I received the call just this morning at 9:25!

I'm so mad that I didn't see the email first!

They called, sounded like a live person, then said that they had trouble with the head set and asked if I could hear them. I did say, "yes". I usually don't fall for stuff like this but i was expecting a call.

I think that they called me by my first name.
