This lady is now going by Lauren Stephens and says she is the hr assistant for xip diagnostics. She uses the same template for all the offer letters and text messages and just changes the company name. I had a gut feeling it was fake but I wanted to make sure so I kept communicating with her. My first big flag was the offer letter with no formal interview. Then she asked me to join telegram which was an even bigger red flag as that the known communicating platform for scammers. Then she said she was going to send me a check to fund and account that I need to do data entry. I was sure it was a scam after that but couldn't find anything doing my normal search. So I decided to do a Google image search and found this page. All the photos are exactly what I got from her and when I confronted her, she immediately disappeared from telegram

This woman contacted me and it seemed like the most perfect job for my situation so of course I jumped on it. Some things made me wary but I needed the better income desperately so I followed instructions to the tee. An amazing job was going to make this birthday the best one yet.
But when she said they were going to send me a check to purchase the equipment all my alarm bells went off, so I became even more cautious. All she had at this point was my name and DOB and address, and there isn’t much she can do with that (not to mention my frozen credit right now lol).
She sent me the check and I deposited it and provided proof of that, but still nothing was shared that would give her access to my bank account or anything so no biggie. But because it seemed odd I called the bank listed on the check and they verified the account was real and funded for the check. My next call was to MY bank to let them know something seemed fishy. On my birthday (the day after I deposited the money) my bank contacted me to confirm the check was counterfeit. I had not attempted to purchase anything thankfully. As soon as I told her the check had been flagged and funds put on hold pending an investigation she disappeared completely. After two days of silence from her I sent her a very polite message letting her know her scam was caught and the whole thing was under investigation. Suddenly her profile and email addresses just disappeared.
Her scam seems to be to use fake checks and fake purchases to funnel money to her. You deposit the check and follow her link to purchase the equipment and she suddenly has thousands of YOUR dollars.
My bank has contacted the bank the check originated from and they are also investigating her. I hope she’s caught soon because this is a horrible thing to do to people trying to better their lives. Happy birthday to me, right?

THIS...I just can't believe that people do this to others who actually WORK for a living. This lady is a scammer! Do not reply to her, do not give her any information! She found my resume/job search on LinkedIn. She then reached out concerning a remote data entry position. Seemed very legit, as I looked up the websites, googled names, until the "hiring" came entirely too fast in my opinion, so I dug a little deeper. THEN the whole, we will send you a check to purchase needed equipment, GEEZ! Get a life people! Quit scamming, and EARN your money!

She found my information on LinkedIn. After seeing what I thought was a great offer, since I have been actively applying to places the "professionally" worded email looked great however, the website gave me a huge red flag. I wish I would have looked up her number before sending in my resume (however she already had it through LinkedIn). Beware of her, it is disgusting what she is doing for people who are actively looking and is the reason people that give LinkedIn and Indeed the ugly comments.

Phone Number: (972) 536-1466
Email: [email protected]
Website Sent: http://hera-bio.com/Home/ (not a secure website which was the first red flag, since ALL medical websites are secured.)

I received a text from this same number in which she calls herself Kathleen and claims to be working for Corvictus, LLC.
Lots of red flags. The business itself is legit, but none of its listed employees are named Kathleen, it's too small to have a separate domain name for the hr department, and I didn't remember ever applying there. (I keep a spreadsheet of jobs I've applied to and this company was not on it.) Plus, if I'd already applied, why would they need a resume? Also, I thought it was odd that I'd receive a text instead of an email.
Be safe, don't click on links from unknown senders!

This is true. I got the same email. And it was too good to be true. So I started researching about this throughout. That’s when everything fell in place. Katie Williams is a fake job offering account. I got contacted through +1 (972) 536-1466 and [email protected]
These are fake contacts. BEAWARE of this woman.

Update: says she's Katie Williams

I am not sure how she found my email but emailed me about a Data Entry Clerk position for Fermatix from Ms. "Katie Williams". It was beyond perfect, I did accept to do an interview with Katie and quickly I got an email with two links to do as soon as possible. One was for the interview while the other is a questionnaire. Mind you, I did fill the assessment and questionnaire very late at night at 8:30 PM PST. And I quickly got hired and was offered an Offer Letter at 5:05 AM PST. She also messaged me thorugh my phone number to check my email about the job offer. The number was +1 (972) - 536 - 1466. I did accept the job offer and was quickly made an employee portal for me. The last update she told me was how she is still waiting from an update from the accounting manager and will quickly get back to me but never did.

And that was the last I heard from her on that friday... until. I received another email from Ms. Katie Williams, however being HR Assistant for Revere Pharmaceuticals. YET also sending me the exact same message she did for Fermatix using the same phone number that she to update me about the job offer.

The name for that account is [email protected], however the ACTUAL email address is [email protected]. Once I realized all the puzzle pieces, I quickly deleted everything and blocked her.

I began receiving messages from “Katie Williams, HR Assistant” yesterday. I have applied for multiple positions on LinkedIn and elsewhere, so I was happy to get a positive response. I was directed to take an assessment test that anyone could undertake at the webpage, but this all seemed legit until I received a job offer and was being asked for DOB and other identity details without any sort of visual or verbal interview. All of the communications and the “Assessment Test” have come from the macrophagetx.net address, and never from macrophagetx.com.

The opportunity mentioned in the job offer was perhaps a little too ideal, but not necessarily too good to be true.

Macrophage doesn’t list any phone numbers on its website; the business does not show up on GoogleMaps in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, or anywhere else; and I am unable to find a profile for Katie Williams related to Macrophage anywhere on LinkedIn. Zoominfo.com lists cell phone number with a full mailbox as is the (201) 731-4021. The phone number I was initially contacted through, (972) 576-1466, comes up in Google searches connected with various scams involving a Linda Jadwin, [email protected], and several other names involved with identity scams under the guise of various pharmaceutical or communications companies making the same sort of offers— $25-$27 per hour jobs and the prospective employee accepting a check to purchase equipment, only to find that they’ve been duped for a couple of thousand dollars.

When I expressed reservations about giving out my DOB and other details, all the formality and cordial pleasantries dropped from the correspondence, and I received: "I understand your concerns but this information will be used for your registration only. The verification will be done via a secured platform. What you are providing now is basic information only." (Sure, basic information that could be used to impersonate me and commit fraud).

When I indicated that I'd be willing to verify my identity through eVerify, First Advantage, or some other such service, "Ms. Williams" immediately stopped contacting me.

I'm attaching jpegs of the "offer letter." I hope you look this up before you get taken for thousands of dollars.

She impersonated a company called Fortis therapeutics inc which had a similar offers to everyone before. And used the name Linda Jadwin. With the email [email protected]. Hopefully this help someone not fall for the scam from whoever it is

I got scammed and lost $2000.00 by her… she pretended to be the HR and sent fake checks where I was not aware of and I had to transfer money via Zeller… I hope who ever is involved with her will be caught as soon as possible … there were also other names where she wanted me to use to send money.
Lesson learned always wait few days to make sure that the check won’t be returned. It is so disgusting the way they do they make up fake position and make you believe you that got the job and then steal the money from you. I pray that she and the people who are involved get the punishment they deserve praying they will be caught as soon as possible

Scam

I was contacted by the same exact person as well. When they offered me the position after filling out their "skills test", the offer letter asked me to accept a check to purchase equipment through a vendor of their choosing (obvious scam). I tried calling their number (website and the contact "Cristina Davis" and no response). The strange thing is that there is in fact a David Shafer from Emory University (https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-shafer-61616921/) who is a Tenured Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. I wonder if Emory University would like to know about this scam. David Shafer is over 80 years-old. I am not sure if he is aware that there is a scam going on where his name and patents are being used as a front. His patents are legitimate.

The phone number that "Cristina Davis" called from is Novatech, Inc.
Irving, TX · (214) 239-0846 was the number that "Cristina Davis" texted me from. If you do a reverse search, you will find that it is for an office equipment company called Novatek Communications, Inc. in Dallas, TX. Novatech, Inc. located at 4251 W John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, TX 75063 (https://novatech.net/locations/dallas/) Also, with a reverse search of the same phone number, you will see mention on a Chamber of Commerce website (https://www.chamberofcommerce.com/united-states/texas/irving/office-equipment-s...

I was almost dupped by this woman as well. She is representing herself as HR of Dharma Biomedical. I applied for a data entry position on LinkedIn and received an email to send my resume. I was then asked to take a test online. The website she had looked all very legit, I then received an offer letter. The offer letter did state that they would send a check to purchase my supplies. I was very excited as I need the work. However today I got a message on LinkedIn from another woman who was supposed to start the same day as I was asking if I had heard anything from them since she wasnt able to get a hold of anyone. So I began to did. The company is real and the CEO name was real, however, I was able to track down the CEO email and phone number. He did contact me back and let me know that his company is not hiring or offering any employment at all. I am glad I found this out before anything happened to my account since I can not afford to loose what little money I have. I am sure a check is going to appear in my mail box so if anyone has any contact info on who is investigating this please reach out to my email, please title it JOB SCAM in all caps so I find it. LOL. [email protected]. I would love to assist in catching her.

Could you please confirm your Emily address, is it @ymail.com or supposed to be @gmail.com? I got scammed by her and lost $2K…

Same thing happened to me. I applied on Indeed for a data entry clerk position and now my account is over drafted by 2300 dollars. The company is real but How in the world is she doing this? Like These are people trying to make an honest living and you scam them out of that?
PrimeGen Biotech

I know that it is a scam since I spoke with the CEO of the company, but what I do not understand is how are they getting anything out of it? Are they just doing it to have people loose all their money out if their accounts because the check is fake or is she requesting money back? I had a similar situation with a roommate prospect but the check wouldnt even allow for a deposit as it was obviously fake.

Now she's an HR rep for Dharma Bio Medical!

I applied to this job as a data entry clerk and seemed a little too good to be true. This woman was kind. Or so I thought. She is posing as Ashley Williams, with a 972 number. Changed the number to 972-746-2374. Her email is [email protected]. Research your companies people. This is a legitimate company but they are “.com”. Then I tried to find her on LinkedIn and I came up to nothing. I think I saw vanquish oncology in the search results, but can’t be too sure. I reversed imaged her account and this article came up. I thought it was also sketchy too when lots of discrepancies were occurring, such as “the holidays” and “out of the office. I gave her basic information like I put in a normal site. Still my info is probably being stolen right now. She had legit sites connected. One thing that stood out was a site that my Norton security flagged as red. Then it lead to another but similar company like aptamir and vanquish. I can’t remember what it said as I reported everything as spam but it was the same set up for “employee login”. Then she said they use Telegram and Cashapp. And then it all added up. Let’s take this ugly ho down because this is the worst kind of scam someone could do.

I have an address after searching her IP. Attachments below. And searched the number and came up with the potential scam flag and about 28 comments of others getting the exact same messages. The last photos are the other 3 IP pings, however they are either New York City Hall, random street addresses in Atlanta, and a building off of University Dr in Phoenix

Lisa George is the lowest form of human being on this planet. Disgusting in every single way a person can be disgusting. She was too stupid to get a job and clearly too stupid to run a scam that does little more than cause a headache that is really easily fixed. Echoing everyone else, she tried her [censored]ic scam on me. Ted Taraway, the flight of Vanquish Oncology, contacted me and we talked at length at how much he knows about her and the current evidence being compelled against her. I attached a photo of this wretch so everyone can see what pathetic looks like.
Barely worth posting about except to tell others to beware

Read my story. Shes an ugly ho thinking shes so smart making a business on NameCheap. Heres her IP Address I dug up from her stupid email exchanges: 162.213.251.133

A woman by the name of Lisa George scams individuals looking for remote data entry work for Vanquish Oncology. She goes as far as stating she found your application on LinkedIn and sends you checks to buy your home equipment. As soon as you pay for equipment she cuts off all contact and then your bank resends the checks throwing your account -$3700. I have had to consult with my bank to have charges and funds reversed and have had to open a serious security investigation freezing all accounts due to this scammer. Please help to where she does not do this to anyone else.

I reported this woman to the FTC. I got her IP address from the email exchange. Read my post she is posing as many other companies now. Even caught her mistake sending me an already flagged as a scam 'employee portal' she had the audacity to make. Claiming it was 'autocorrect for some reason'. Such an ugly ho.

IP Address of the 'Miss Ashley' biotch: 162.213.251.133

I could't find where I had applied but I was texted then emailes to take an interview test. Following that, they sens me a job offer onto a fake website vanquishoncology.net. Made me a profile and everything. Then to get my "home office equipment" I got sent a $1900 invalid check. I ask to call her the next day and got ghosted.

I applied for a Data Entry Clerk position on 10/21/22 through LinkedIn for the company JADE Biotech LLC. I was almost immediately reached out to by someone who called themselves Lisa George via text message (phone number 972-536-1466) regarding the position and to send them my resume via email ([email protected]). From this, they asked me to fill out a questionnaire due to an influx of applications. The next business day, 10/24/22, I was offered a position. In the offer letter the following text was included: "Our Admin staff are currently working from home and as a result of this, we are currently unable to handle the shipping of your office equipment. However, Vanquish Oncology will be happy to send you a check. The amount on the check will cover the purchase and shipping of your office equipment. The HR Assistant (Miss Lisa) will also assist you with this process. You are expected to use the funds from the check to complete the purchase of your office equipment from the company-approved vendor. Kindly advise that the company can rely on your full trust, commitment and diligence in carrying out this task." Additionally, the following text was included as part of the job description from the person impersonating Lisa George: "Vanquish Oncology will take full responsibilities for your Office equipment. You will also undergo two weeks of training online from your home via video conference with your training supervisor and you will be paid $16.00 per hour during training and later goes up to $27.00 per hour when you start working after 2weeks of training." After noticing the above questionable information, I began to dig a little deeper into the personnel and the company I was applying for. I cannot find anything after 2015 for the company Vanquish Oncology, and Lisa George is not associated with the company anywhere. Additionally, the offer letter was signed by the CEO Ted Tarasow. Looking at Ted on LinkedIn, he is not associated with the company, and currently works in California. Vanquish Oncology has their headquarters listed in Illinois. I have not responded to the scammers since noticing the above information.
