Received a text about my van listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace that says:

“Hey! I got your number from FB. Is your Sprinter Conversion still for sale? Thanks, Alice”

I don’t have my phone number listed on FB and immediately suspected a scam. Found this number listed on ScamPulse.com with the exact same messages sent to other folks selling vans.

The below was sent to me after listing my rv on rv trader. The van viewer site doesnt have a real presence or ability to contact me and this contact appears to actually be from the owner of van viewer. Thank you for getting back to me. I was asking for a friend regarding availability, but I just texted him about yours and he told me he put a deposit on one already. My husband and I had a Revel, but we recently sold it because we needed more room so we got a small motorhome! You may want to look into www.VanViewer.com that’s where we sold ours after our friends referred us. We tried RV Trader for a few months with no luck.
