I had been contacted initially by an Indian man, At first I thought the call center was in India. But he had an American phone #. I asked where he was located he responded in Irvine. He gave me 3 options for the purchase of an engine for my 2012 audi Q5. When I had made my selection of the one I wanted he told me the price was $1500.00 and I asked him to email me a payment link he said he would. He told me I would not have to give him my CC # over the phone (Which I had no intention of doing so) I asked him to email me a payment link and I would make the purchase later that afternoon. He kept calling me asking if I had made the purchase. I told him I would do it when I had time. This alone made me question the sale. I finally asked for a picture of the engine they were selling me and he had someone email me a picture of an engine that was still installed in an Audi. (So sad because the shroud was still on the engine so I couldnt even see the engine. Another thing that threw me off was the difference in price, which they had included in the email and that price was $800.00 which included shipping I called that number that was listed in the email and again I was greeted by another Indian man and he was in a completely different state (Tennessee) During the time I was waiting for a photo of the engine I was purchasing and the time I had gotten off the phone with the man in Irvine, I went on the website and looked at the different locations they were all throughout the U.S. and when I spoke to the man in Tennessee he said they only had 2 locations. That was the last red flag I needed. The engine was supposed to be coming from New York and he told me it would arrive in 2 weeks and I kept receiving phone calls from them telling me I needed to make the purchase soon or the link would expire and he kept saying the billing was asking him when I was going to purchase. I personally dont have any experience purchasing engines I found on the internet but I know they dont keep calling and trying to coach the purchase unless it's a scam. So I said forget it. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR YOUR CAR NEEDS...
