I was given false information about the trademark application process. Funds were requested and taken for "Classifications" which entailed a $35 per state filing fee, an "examining attorney", "business name trademark", "logo trademark", and "attestation and validation". After confirming with an attorney employed by USPTO none of the above were required for applying aside from the trademark application through that specific entity.
