I called the UPS number listed 1-844-UPS-LAB and it worked the day before but the next day it routed me to an Indian accented person who tried to give me a "free life-alert necklace", so I hung up. Then I dialed the number again and they acted like UPS pickup but first told me I had been chosen for a free $100 gift card if I subscribed to some service for $1.95 per month and could cancel anytime. I said no thank you many times and they then gave me the number 1-800-373-3411 to call. I googled that number first and realized a ton of other people were reporting it as a scam when they call chase bank, capitol one bank, UPS, etc.

Asked if this name was me and said this line will be recorded said said they are calling from Ups and asked if I lost a package which I did so I said”yes” and they said thanks for confirming and hungup

Scammer sent text message impersonating UPS tracking, and linked to a website claiming a $1.20 redelivery charge, also needing a ZIP code for your address, your full address, full legal name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address. Once you provide all your personal information and click next, (I told it George Washington for name, 1776 for DOB, and some other fake information) it takes you to a screen that asks for credit card number, CVV, expiry date, and name on the card.

Sent an email stating I had unpaid delievery fees of $2.82 and to follow the link. Provided a tracking number that is not valid via the UPS website (whom they are claiming to be). With the subject line "UPS Package is awaiting payment of an additional fee. Tax:5081474525"

Called 5 times stating they had a delivery for person wanting to confirm personal information for a delivery and a personal check would be needed for this delivery no delivery is expected I stated was not expecting order and wished to speak to manager manager not available caller stated manager would call back
