When I answered the phone, I couldn't understand what the caller was saying. There was a long pause, and then the caller, asks, "Can you hear me now? or Can you hear me?"

Received two calls on different lines over the space of two weeks from above number by a female pretending ot have "Headphone problem" and asking if I could hear her now. I did respond "yes" once and she started a sales tlak that I hung up on. I got the exact same type call again on another line and cut her off once headphones were mentioned. This scam, although questioned on snoops, is going around for sure. Warnings are valid. I am a retired law enforcement officer and would be more than happy to work to pull in some of the many trying to take advantage of us old folk. :)

When I received the call I didn't think anything about it. The guy asked "can you hear me?" I was kind of caught off guard but I said yes. He proceeded to tell me that I had won a cruise. I hung up. The entire call was only 17 seconds. This happened on January 20, 2017. A week later I read an article about the "can you hear me" scam. I never agreed to anything and so far I have not discovered anything unusual added to one of my monthly statements. I hope my "yes" response will not be used for something I never agreed to. For now I just want to report the phone he used.

Phone call from this number with recorded voice asking if I could "hear her clearly." I had heard about this on the news and hung up immediately. I am reporting the number used.

The call lasted about 20 seconds and I was caught off guard and said yes. After realizing what I did, I pressed the block number on our phone blocker.

I received a restricted phone call where the caller said hello multiple times before asking if I could her. I can't recall what I said but she then laughed and said 'I must be having an issue with my headset- you have won...' and I hung up.

Received a call from 1-201-879-2016. Person spoke English. Asked if I could hear them. They said they were reaching out to home owners for solar panels. Believe this may be the "can you hear me" scam

I received 4 calls that I am concerned are phishing. The numbers are, 575 762 0968, 423 405 1356, 860 900 0232, and 800 323 2323. I am concerned about any potential fraudulent use as the result of answering the phone.

SHE ASKED A QUESTION TO CONFIRM MY NAME THEN ASKED IF I WAS ABLE TO HEAR HER. THEN SHE WENT INTO THIS RECORDING ABOUT "WINNING" A CRUISE. I REPEATIDLY TOLD THEM TO TAKE ME OFF OF THEIR CALL LIST, WHICH IS WHEN IT WAS CLEAR THE CALL WAS A RECORDING. THEN I HUNG UP.

Person called me. Asked if I could hear her because she had dropped headset. I said yes. She talked quickly & said recently I was at one of their resorts and was eligible for a free vacation in Orlando, Florida. I said, " not interested," and hung up while she was still talking.

Most of these call are calling for surveys, medical record without properly being able to identify the caller. Also if you call back most of these numbers have you press 1 to be taken off the do not call list although I am already in the do not call list.

The person texted me saying they were somebody I met 14 plus months ago. I told them i don't remember and they said they are gona call me to catch up and when I answer to pres 65 when I answer, they kept calling but i didnt accept the calls. They said they only wanted to talk for a minute. I did not answer, i told the person to stop calling me in a text message and they kept saying just answer and press 65.Then i told them im reporting them to the fraud service's. They did not bother me again after that.

The phone call number was differnt than the text the number phone call number was (202)455-8888

A caller, who would not identify where she was calling from, said I had stayed at one of their resorts before, and had an exclusive 75% off offer.

I have not stayed at any resorts, and I am on the no call list

As I recall, female caller started by confirming who I am, then started talking about a vacation, (I believe) then the question, "can you hear me?". I believe, unfortunately, that I gave some form of affirmative response, then realized it was an automated call and discontinued the call.

No follow up from caller yet. 8 days have passed.,

Recorded message started with something like "Hi, my name is Josh, and I have an exciting offer for you. Can you hear me clearly?" Message proceeded to talk about a free vacation including a trip to Disney, and continued asking questions to confirm things like "you are over 28 years old and have an active credit or debit card."
