I received several calls and my father received a call from this company stating they are bringing me to court for a debt and they are delivering a summons to me. I asked them what is this debt for and he stated a Chase account from 2008. One: I have never had a Chase account and two: this is obviously far past the statute of limitations for a company to sue in order to collect a debt. I told the guy that it was illegal to bring people to court this long after the debt and he laughed. He had my address and everything. Knew two of my phone numbers and my father's phone number. They call from local numbers but then leave a voicemail with this 866-320-8535 number and a case number. I don't know what is going on with these scamming companies but there has to be something to protect our privacy from places like this. I can't imagine people who aren't aware of laws and just freak out over something like this and provide more personal information along with account information thinking they are really paying a debt.
