Don’t do it!!

If I could give a - negative score I would.. it's real simple.. if you want to keep yourself out of quicksand then stay away from Unison .. for a small investment on their part, you'll soon loose all your equity... they make it almost impossible to refinance or buy them out.. as they increasingly pillage all your equity.

They called me about a family member who my number never belonged to. I’ve gotten multiple calls in previous years asking for the same person saying it’s a legal matter or whatever. I say I’m not him and they leave me alone (not sure though bc I don’t answer #s idk) Got a call today from a familiar area code so I called and they said it was Unison looking for my family member. I got annoyed bc it sounded the same as years before. I asked what the company does and they said they couldn’t tell me bc it’s a personal matter. 🤨 I’m not asking to know details of who they’re calling about and why. I called back a couple times asking different workers what was the purpose of the company, they all said the same “it’s personal” and kept asking me to verify information. Some hung up some try to over-talk you when asking some try to ignore question completely. I told them to stop calling and hopefully they do I be bored ready to cuss someone out

I have been receiving calls and bc I would not verify I don't know who they are. There have been calls saying I have been making big purchases as well, that with these calls have me worried about the safety of my information. Even if information has been sold to them that too is not legit. No company should give any or sell any information without my permission.

Received a call from Unison regarding a “business” matter. When I asked questions regarding the purpose of the call they refused to give me the so called account information. I was also told that the call will be terminated because I refused to be put on hold. All I asked for was the acct information and Daniel Woods told me he had to speak to his supervisor first.

Called asking if I was (my first name) and the last 4 of my social was xxxx. I asked who was calling and they again asked the same question. I stated I would not share any information without knowing who was calling and she said unison I asked what unison was and she stated she was terminating the call. First I know that anyone calling must first identify themselves and verify who they are speaking to at least by name before giving out any private info like social. This feels like a scam to me and will be watching my credit report closely to see if anything comes up.

I have received 2 calls from Unison, They asked me to verify the last four digits of my SS#. They will not give you any information as to the reason for the call unless you verify that the numbers they gave you are the last 4 digits of your SS. I of course did not verify and told them I would not give them any info unless they identified themselves so I hung up. I found out the number comes up as a robo call. SCAM!

Same thing happened to me yesterday! I refused to verify the info they had (last 4 of SS number and DOB which were correct). It worries me that they have my personal info and I have no idea who they are.

I filled out my name and address wishing to receive information about their business and somehow they were able to Hard Check my credit!! Im looking to buy a home soon and ads that run on my Facebook and Google obviously can tell. I clicked a link trying to get more information about it and then received and email telling me I am not approved because of my credit score. I am pissed! I simply wanted information about the business because I didn't know what it was and it has to do with down payment assistance on a house. I NEVER GAVE MY SOCIAL and somehow they ran my credit!

Called and told me they are a debt collector who received my debt from Jefferson Capital System who got my debt from bank X, who said I owed over $400 to bank X from 2008. I called bank X they said I DID have more than one CLOSED ONLINE account that had been open around 2007 but NONE showed due balances and couldn't see any charge offs. Called Telecheck via Bank X's advice who verified my ID was clear. I got their name and the exact $ amount and told them I was calling bank X to verify what they were saying and the rep said the bank would just refer me back to them. They also said if I was willing to pay they could offer a 'drastic discount'. Problem is these people had my first, middle, last name, my last address I recently moved from, and the last 4 of my SSN WITHOUT me giving it to them.

I continue to receive calls from this "collector" who does not provide any information regarding the place they're calling from other than stating their name is "Unison" when I ask, however, they have a lot of my personal information. They are attempting to collect a debt from me from Cashland from 2007 which I have never received a bill for, or seen on my credit report (which I monitor monthly). They attempt to obtain my intentions on paying the debt and money over the phone. I explain that if it is my debt I have no problem paying it, but I would like more information since I don't recall incurring the debt and I will not pay them over the phone. I have told this to numerous different callers and never receive anything in the mail. They get highly frustrated with me, argue, speak incredibly rude, and then end up hanging up on my stating they will take that as a refusal to pay. They will never give me any information about their company when I ask for it.
