Ultra Tech Support/APPLOFT LLc Reports & Reviews (1)

While on *** on 3 Oct 2018 I clicked on an add for a new style of a travel trailer. Received an alert on my computer that a spyware/malware security breach was detected by Microsoft and that my personnel information and credit cards were being stolen and not to close the screen or shut down computer. The alert provided a 1 855 863 6333 to call, which I thought was Microsoft. A technician answered and I asked who I was speaking to and his name was Alex and it was indicated that it was Microsoft. As the phone call proceeded he needed to log on my computer to check it. He indicated I had two viruses that had infected my computer. He notified me that it would cost me $180.00 to clean up my computer and then tried to sell me a Microsoft Firewall for $295.00 for 3 years for a total of $475.00 that Ultra Tech Support18106200514 would be the company that I would contact for any further support. They wanted to know how I would pay for the service, they would only accept only a cashier check or money order. They wanted to know if I was a senior citizen. If I was the only one there using the computer. How long it would take me to go to my bank to get the cashier check and then they wanted it faxed to them. They then had their billing contact me from *** ***  408-618-6966 so they could provide the info for the cashier check. When I got that information I shut down my computer due to this was a scam to get $. I had my computer checked and there was no virus on my computer.
