In the meantime, I posted in a travel agent facebook group asking if anyone else was having issues with Turquoise Reef Group. Over the course of a few days, many agents responded, some saying that he never paid them their commissions, and more alarmingly, agents responded that they too had given him their clients money and he never made the reservations, OR he made the reservations and never paid the resort. Since then, I have been in contact with at least ten people, mostly travel agents, but a few regular consumers, who JB has stolen from in the last few months, which totals over $30K to date. J has responded to a few travel agents in the last few weeks, and he has told them all to have their clients dispute the credit card charges because he is now out of business.
