Then they sent me text messages and e-mails telling me about the registration of the dog and the scheduled delivery. At this point I started to be contacted by a "globalpet animaldelivery" they said they need $930 for travel-health insurance for the puppy that was their policy and that they will reimburse that money when I receive the dog I will receive also the money back minus $50 for cost of the cage. They sent a legit explanation about pet needed to travel in a vent cage and other conditions etc. But the weird part was that they ask me to make a similar payment by Walmart money Gram and to the same people who supposed to be selling the pet. Then a male called me to be sure I received the information about the travel insurance and how I should hurry if I wanted the dog to be sent on the same day. I got uneasy and called the phone number that supposed to be the woman from the puppy and it was answer for male voice same male voice and accent -like form India or African thick accent- that talked to me as been the person from the insurance. I explained there was no information whatsoever about this money in their previous instructions and that unexpected amount I did not have and it will be a deal breaker. Then I started to receive multiple calls lowering the amount of money I could send instead acting like if they were able to put together part of the money and I could just come out with the rest. He went down to $180 and keep saying they promise I will have my money back as soon as I receive the dog. I stood firm in no more money for them (as Logan and Valerie), and of course try to acting doomed to see if I could recover my money. Well they keep contacting me even on Sunday when I finally told them I already found out that this transaction had been an scam. And they still blame me for not trusting them with the extra $180.
I have all e-mails and phone records and the Walmart transaction receipt.
This can sound silly to you but for my was a very emotional distress not just for the money but for the emotional investment in this puppy since I just lost my dog of 14 years about 2 month ago and I was already making plans for me and my family with the new pup. This people making $500 here and there are making a lot of money that no one pay attention to because of the individual amounts are so small that big agencies do not pay attention to but there is not count in all the tax money that is getting lost for the different states involved and how this people. These particular ones were possibly just residents or even operating out of the country with in house help? It is very unfortunate how small money scamers can make a fortune and nobody take care of them and the damage that they make to so many people in this country.
