Travodealz.com Reports & Reviews (6)

I purchased two round-trip tickets to Rome on March 2. I received a phone call the next day saying that the tickets were no longer available. But if I wanted to spend another $300, they could find me two new tickets for the same days. I said go ahead, not thinking that I was being played. Anyhow, I really wish that I had enough sense to just cancel these immediately.

And this purchase was made at Travodealz:

It is a fake airline ticket site which then calls you and demands extra money or they will cancel your booking and you’ll lose all your money. They make pay a bunch of extra charges and then send an email to a person (mine was called Lucy Williams) to say ‘I approve all the funds’ to keep your ticket, while you are on the phone with them or they will just take your money and leave you with no flights. They are rude and bullyish and extremely predatory

This company poses as a travel agency. Once you book a ticket, they will say to call them as it is pending. Once you call, they inform you the cost of the ticket was the result of a mistake/expired discount, or something else. They will then request additional money and refuse to cancel the ticket or refund your money. Thankfully my bank account has insufficient funds and I cancelled the card. This company are immoral and frauds. I hope you can investigate them. Thank you for your time.

Incredible. As in incredibly bad. I signed up for a flight at $422. Got a call that that was no longer available, but that I could get a flight for roughly $250 more and that I could not cancel. I changed the dates but still paid $150 more.

The money was taken from my debit card, but I received no confirmation code for the flights, so I called the company and they said they would give them to me for a fee of $125. Not a joke. I had to pay to ge the confirmation codes for the fights I paid $150 more.

So, when I contacted the airlines directly, I found out that Travodealz sends the reservations to the airlines but not with the paying customer email, but with a random emails, so that when the airline sends the confirmation code, the customer never receives it, and then when the customer calls travodealz, they require a further payment to give the customer the codes for their flights.

So it's, at least, a double scam, first the bait-and-switch, then the scam to extort even more money from the victim by intentionally sending the confirmation code to a different email so that the customer mist pay to get to it. And the other emails were nothing like mine, in other words, it was not an honest mistake or typo.

I wish I can give them negative 5 star rating. I have posted two reviews warning people to stay away from them. This company is a SCAM. This company shows a US address but the number provided stays busy and the other number goes through their call center, most likely is not in the US. This company linger people with offering so called cheap fair, send you a confirmation saying you will get the tickets within 4hours. A normal person would think all is well. Nope, it is not. The customer don’t get a call from them, but when I called them at +1-800-651-0141, they person had all of my information without me verifying it or giving any information. He then told me that the flight I paid for using my credit card, is no longer available at that rate, but I could get it for over a $1000 ($400 more than what I paid on line at the time I booked the flight). When I questioned him about if this is a scam, he disconnected the call. I called the number again, same person picked up the call, this time he was rude, I ask to speak to the manager, he said no one is here, they all went home and disconnected the call again. Please help us by banning these kinds of business registering with US address scaming innocent people in not only in the US but probably worldwide. This just happened so I don’t have the enough info but I do hope my call scared them and they try not to steal our PII or try to charge my credit card with any unauthorized charges.
