I had applied for a trademark for my business. I was contacted by a guy named Luke Davis who said he worked as a paralegal at a law firm that deals with trademarks. He told me it was a 100% money back guarantee if I did not get the trademark. He had information about me & my trademark application, so I was stupid enough to believe him. He even had my card number & info that I used to sign up to get a trademark (which was $50) & so I thought it was legit. But as time went on & he kept saying I needed to pay more, I kept asking for all of the paperwork that had to do with my case & he promised he’d get it to me & then nothing. That happened multiple times & I said I’m not paying another cent til I get everything I asked for (all documents). I told him if I didn’t get all the paperwork & number to look up on the US trademark & patent site, I was going to call the feds because I figured out he was scamming me out of a lot of money! I said the feds because it crosses state lines & is fraud & theft. He was calling me from a number in Michigan & then gave me his new number which is in Buffalo, New York. I have saved voicemails from him on my phone. I not only want my money back, I want the trademark I signed up for originally in 2022 & have not gotten. The transactions & contact happened in 2023. I want his real name & info & I want to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. How do I do this? Also, his 2 #’s were: 1-269-206-9359 & 1-716-671-7165. Emails used: [email protected] and [email protected] I have tried contacting someone on that website, but no one ever answers or the message just so happens not to go through. I am a disabled RN. I no longer can be an RN due to my disabilities caused by my career & I am the sole provider for my family of 5. I make 1/2 the income, but trying to get my business to take off so it can be successful. My youngest, who turned 3 last month, was born with bilateral hydronephrosis due to bilateral ureteral strictures & 6 months ago, he was diagnosed with autism, global developmental delay & speech delay disorders. My insurance agrees he needs his medical treatments & therapies, but say it’s too expensive (it’s over $3,000/wk which is over $170,000/yr), which I can’t afford. I am failing him bcuz I am not rich so I need my business to work & grow to be beyond successful & sustainable so I can give my kids everything they need and some extra of things they want. I also want to make enough to give back, especially to kids & families going through the same things we are. I want to give them moments where they can just breathe & not feel like they are going to drown immediately after, bcuz that’s how I feel, constantly drowning, but still trying to do everything I can for my family. Please help me get my money back, find this scamming pos, & get my trademark approved. Thank you!
