We came in contact with this scammer after believing they were a legit lead from BBB. ScamPulse.com always sends us emails of any leads, so I contacted this potential client through email as they asked for me to email them. After that they sent over documents through DocuSign saying that their landscape plans were in there. But I couldn't view these documents because it needed a password, which was provided by the scammer. The scammer proceeded to send me an access code which was through Yahoo Mail, instead of Outlook which the scammer had sent the documents. After several calls with this "client" we knew it was not legit because they persisted in getting the access code Yahoo had sent. ScamPulse.com sent us this lead back in January. Yesterday, March 28, they sent the same document and called for the code. I came back to the office after lunch and had seen that our email was hacked and they had contacted one of our clients that wanted to send a payment through Zelle, saying that our bookkeepers name is Priscilla and provided a Zelle number. Thank God I caught it on time and contacted our client to not send any money as we had been hacked.
