I was attempting to purchase a Maine C o o n kitten, from a person that I was told lived in Chicago, IL. I told this person that I would come pick the kitten up, but she stated that she had already taken the kitten to Top Quality Logistics and I was to wait for information from them. I was contacted via text message for my address, and then told that I needed to pay for the remainder that was owed for the kitten prior to shipment. I contacted the "breeder" and she confirmed this. After I paid her, they, then told me that I need to pay $1000 for insurance. Because I assumed I was dealing with a legitimate company, I sent the money. They then continued to ask me for more money, for permits, that I would not need as well as $500 for 5 stamps for mailing my refund. During this entire process, I attempted to get a live video of the kitten and was not able. They said that they could only send pictures. I did send them another $500 and was given delivery times and dates, twice. After this, I was done and out over $2500 for all things with this kitten purchase. I was never given a direct phone number, a confirmation or an email. When I attempted to contact the company, I was only allowed to do so via online chat. I left the link open in my browser and, even thought the site is still there, I am unable to use the online chat anymore. These people are horrible. When I refused to send them anymore money and insisted on a full refund, I never heard from them again.
