Came as a text titled E-Z Pass, please settle your toll payment by February 27, 2025 to avoid late fees and ensure the continuation of your vehicle registration. Any delays in payment may lead to fines and reported to to the DMV. Make your payment here < provides link.

Clicking on the link takes you to MassDOT's electronic tolling toling < it says that twice like that at the top of the page, it also says "E-ZPass New York Service Center" < your vehicle has outstanding toll invoices, to avoid excessive late fees on your bill, please settle your balance in a timely manner, total sum $0.28.

The scam said I had unpaid Ezpass and had to settle before the fee went from 19.51 to 57.45. They then made a mistake of saying the fee was 18.51 (instead of 19.51. This was the first sign it was a scam. Then i checked the email address. Although appeared at EZPASS Toll Services, when I clicked I saw the return address was [email protected]
