Beware of a man calling himself Mike Nasir. Says he lives in Tinley Park and has his own contractor business. He advertised on Facebook’s Marketplace. Wrote up a estimate and required half up front. He said he was licensed and bonded (be sure to see this before paying). Only showed up 3 times to gut out one of the 2 bathrooms I paid $6500 for then stopped coming, got rid of his Facebook personal page, stopped answering his cellphone, kept making up excuses as to why he couldn’t make it and that was 2 days after I paid the deposit via Cash App. He also brought his “Uncle” or Father in law” and a worker named “Chewy.” Not sure if this is actually his real name or true info. Thank goodness I have a camera outside my house and have video and pictures of his maroon/burgundy Ford pickup truck with license plates. I also filed with the Attorney General of IL. Beware. He is of Palestinian descent and brags about what he knows. I also have a screen shot of his Facebook profile picture that has a very distinctive tattoo on his right arm (law enforcement can track those). DO NOT PAY HIM OR CALL HIM!!
