I recently updated my resume and started applying for work from home jobs on ZipRecruiter, I got contacted via email from an address (which I unfortunately did not check before replying) [email protected] which claimed they wanted to interview me, I was added over zoom and supposedly interviewed over text chat. They then said they needed me to deposit a check for my work from

Home equipment. They sent me the check via email which I printed out and tried to direct deposit. It did not go through and I called my bank and they said it was fraudulent, that’s when I knew it was a scam.
