I received an email from The Swag Station on 7/4/2023 thanking me for ordering 171 size small t-shirt from their online store. The cost was $2,907.00 plus $31.99 for shipping. I never heard of this company and certainly had no need for 171 t-shirts! Thinking it was just spam, I laughed it off and deleted the email. The the next day, I discovered they took that amount from my debit card. I have no idea how they have my name, my card number, my address and my phone number. After a few email exchanges, they did refund the $2,907.00 on 7/7/2023. But they kept the shipping cost even though nothing was ever shipped. Their website says their "production facility" is located at 123 Main Street in Beech Grove, Indiana. I called the police there (also located on Main). They said no such address exists. I called the Chamber of Commerce there as well and they also said there is no such address. They also claim their "headquarters" is located at 13105 Briar Forest Drive, Houston, TX 77077. A Google Earth search shows that as an apartment complex. The "business" has no phone number to call. I sent them an email telling them that I suspected they are frauds. I shared my evidence with them and I strongly suggested they refund the remaining $31.99 they owe me. A day later, they did. Fortunately, I did not lose any money in this scam, but I want to warn others. The Swag Station buys Facebook ads and claims to make retro t-shirts. They appear to do nothing but rip people off.
