Sandra Smith ! Is the name I got, just two days of talking seemed normal about how she wanted her paintings for her daughter (sad they have to make these innocent stories about even having a family who cares) but after 3 tries to get her to send me the deposit to my PayPal, she told me to check my spam folder in my email, which wouldn’t make sense for a transaction like this. And of course there is the phish email, unfortunate I decided to start on the painting even before deposit but I’ll still finish and sell it so JUST BE CAREFUL!

Exactly the same as the first two, this account on Instagram seeks art creation, provides the same photo of a dog, and then starts requesting payment via PayPal. Subsequently, there's a reminder to check the spam folder. Inside, there's an email impersonating PayPal. The ultimate goal is to have me refund the excess money to their bank account. Why are there so many scammers on Instagram? This is the second scammer I've encountered.

Avoid this instascammer. Same story as the other reviewer. He sends you a fake email prompting you to send him back an overpayment (difference of $200) .

I received an Instagram message from Ocen Mughal requesting a custom piece of art. I agreed to make the art for $150. I gave my PayPal address for payment. I then received an email at the email address associated with my PayPal account. The email told me that Ocen Mughal had sent me $600 and that I needed to send him $200 and "upgrade my account" because his $600 payment could not be credited to my account. I didn't send any money and I blocked him on Instagram.
