"Purchased" a model of a car engine as a gift for my gear-head brother. It was supposed to be a buildable model of a car engine that "worked" when completed (in that the pulleys turned and pistons would move up and down). The real draw was in the building of it. However, I received a res figurine of an engine that looked like a 2nd grader made it in art class, and it was broken upon receipt as well (not that I would have wanted it anyway). All attempts to contact the company were fruitless. Definitely a scam.

I looked up this number to see if it was legit. I’ve watched a lot of scam baiting videos to understand what’s going on. This ad I received promoted some sort of realistic puppy. I was tempted with the amount of AI going around. I saw 5 pictures of basically stuffed animals and the rest were real (or AI) cute puppies. The rating was all 5 and everyone gave good reviews (I doubt those were real people now). Looking at this person’s review above, I know it’s a scam because they go under “Bargnex.com”

This mug was advertised to me. It was described as a handcrafted mineral mug. When it arrived it was a resin plastic mug that smelled of chemicals. There was nothing handcrafted or mineral about it. When I reached out for a refund they only offered a 25% refund or I could pay to ship it back for a full refund.
