I reached out to a place called The Mortgage Helper and thought I did enough research and it looked legit by reviews and ScamPulse.com results. However after working with them and giving them $1750.00 for two months for being short on my escrow they said I had to pay before receiving help i then received a letter from actual mortgage company with approval for trial modification and thats when i realized i had been scammed. I called bank and filed claims on all transactions sent (through zelle) I demanded my payments back by email have called and left messages with no response yet. I feel stupid but was desperate because at the time i reached out to this company we were behind on first and second mortgage and they said they could help with both. I simply would like my money back and to keep this from happening to anyone else that is as desperate as i was. Thank you
