Matt Brockman Hard Sell Scam - I contacted Matt with an interest in taking trumpet lessons. He arranged a phone call and promised he could improve my playing. The cost was going to be about $8,000. I told him I was not in the position to pay that amount because I was helping my 30 year old son who had gone through a nasty divorce and was unemployed. He told me my son should get a life of his own and continued to press me to send money. I told him I was not interested. He asked something like 'You're not interested in improving your trumpet playing?' and continued to give payment options which I declined. He told me something like he has decided not to help me because I am an unreasonable person, and hung up on me. VERY RUDE, VERY HARD SELL I participate with a chat group of trumpet players and some of them have had similar experiences. BOYCOTT THIS BUSINESS. I see he is in the Army band. Maybe they should transfer him to infantry - his demeanor matches that job more than that of teacher.
