I found a website adopting out teacup Maltese puppies, we had just lost our dog and I wanted to surprise my daughter. I paid for the puppy and delivery and then was asked (once the supposed delivery was in process) for insurance payment to be delivered the next day and then was asked for crate payment the following day and food and water for the delay and a health screening.

Found online a site that read " Teacup Maltese Puppies for sale. The scammer communicates through a text and had us send a $200 deposit via Western Union to Gilbert Rotins in Richmond VA Phone # 804-624-4280. We were going to meet him at the Chesterfield Airport in Richmond to pick the puppy up. He never showed up and text us and said he would fly the puppy to us.
